A small to medium sized tree reaching a height of 12 to 20 M with a diameter of 0.35 M.
It is cream to white in colour with markings caused by a beetle larvae attacking the cambium.
This produces pith flecks giving a flame like effect, which produces a very attractive figure.
The timber has a fine even grain which works well.
